The most visible labyrinth in our neighborhood is located at Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church at 1948 The Alameda, San Jose, CA. While the church goes back to 1945, the simple walking labyrinth was part of the Anna Searcy Peace Garden dedicated in 2012. It is the Eagle Scout project of Eddy Vicari.
Next time you are hurdling down the Alameda headed for the Highway 880 Northbound exit consider taking a moment to stop and walk the path. It is a simple stone and dirt design that only takes a few minutes to walk. There is plenty of small weeds you can pull, a peace pole in more languages than I can count and a simple bench to sit and reflect.
